The applicants who apply through CareerPlug come primarily from the job search engines, where CareerPlug automatically posts your jobs. (Find a full list of these sites here: On what job boards does CareerPlug post my jobs?)

Indeed is generally the largest source of applicants, with SimplyHired and Zip Recruiter also producing a number of applicants for most users.

In addition to the job boards that we post to automatically, you can link any other job posting you create back to CareerPlug by using a tracking URL that we generate for you. This means that your Craigslist, CareerBuilder or local university job postings can all be linked to CareerPlug so that all of your applicants apply through CareerPlug. This will make it easier for you to track, contact, and evaluate your candidates. Click here for help linking outside postings to CareerPlug: How do I post my job to outside sources (such as Craigslist, Facebook or local colleges)?

To see from which source a specific applicant applied, find that applicant on the Applicants tab and look below their name on the left-hand side of the page. You will see the applicant's most recent job title and employer along with their location and, on the last line below their name, the date they applied along with the name of the source of their application.
