Interview scorecards are lists of questions used to increase consistency in your interview process. In most cases, your CareerPlug account will come with Phone Screen, In-Person Interview, and Reference Check scorecards.


To use the provided interview scorecards and guides, follow these steps:

 
1.  Go to your Applicants tab and locate the applicant that you are interviewing. (You can click the magnifying glass at the top of the page to quickly search for a specific applicant by name.)

2.  Click the Scorecard link under the appropriate step in the hiring process (for example, Phone Screen or Interview).

3.  Choose which interview scorecard you would like to generate and choose whether you would like to complete the scorecard now or email the scorecard to a manager, then click Continue (if necessary). More info: How can I add another manager to an interview invite?

4.  Use the scorecard to give the applicant ratings in various categories to help you summarize the strengths and weaknesses of the applicant's interview. (If you'd rather write on the scorecard, click the Print Scorecard button at the top left-hand side of the page and fill out the online version after the interview.)

6.  Be sure to click Save at the bottom of the scorecard when you are finished.

7. You can view the completed scorecard by clicking on its score, or click the 'New' link to complete another scorecard for that applicant on that hiring step.
