To remove an applicant from the hiring process:

  1. Go to your Applicants tab and find the applicant you wish to remove.
  2. Click the Make Inactive button underneath their name.

  • To Undo making this candidate inactive, click the Undo this change button in the gray box that will appear. 
  • If you would like to send a rejection letter to the applicant, you may do so at this time by clicking the Send a Rejection Letter button. The rejection email template that you have chosen will appear. Make any necessary changes, then click Send

If you need to locate an applicant that you have previously removed from the process, click the More Filters option at the top left-hand side of the Applicants page. Change the Applicant Status field from 'Show only Active Applicants' to 'Show only Inactive Applicants.'

To reject multiple applicants at once:

On the Applicants tab, check the checkbox to the left of each applicant that you wish to make inactive. At the top of the page, select Make Inactive. Afterward, you'll be prompted to give an optional rejection reason and send an optional rejection email.
