Below are instructions on how to reset a forgotten password and how to reset a password when you are logged into your account.

To reset a forgotten password:

  1. Navigate to the CareerPlug sign in page:
  2. Near the bottom of the page, select 'Forgot your password?'

Enter the email associated with your CareerPlug account. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

When you visit this link, you will be asked to enter your new password twice. Your new password should be at least 8 characters long, include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a symbol, and a number.

After you enter your password twice, click the Change My Password button.

Change Password

Each time a password reset is requested, an email is sent with a link to reset the password that contains a unique token. Be sure that you click the link in the most recent email with the authorized token to reset your password. Note: If you get an error message that your reset password link has expired, simply go to the CareerPlug sign-in page and click 'Forgot your password?' to get a new email and link.

To change your password while logged in to your account, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Account tab on your dashboard.  Click My Profile.
  2. Find the Email and Password fields and enter the desired changes. If you wish to change your password, you must enter your Current Password, as well the new password in both the Password and Retype Password fields.  
  3. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Reset Your Own Password

If you've forgotten your password, you must log out (Account > Log Out) and click the 'Forgot Password?' link to get an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
